En route to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, from Alameda, CA, after torpedo repairs at Hunters Point Shipyards in San Francisco. Transporting two twin engine Navy planes, thus could not have flight operations en route.
Also rumor had it that we were carrying gold bullion,
worth millions, down below.
