We are gearing up for a great season!  Please check back with us frequently for updates on photos and commentary about our runners as they progress throughout the season. 

For those of you who are new to Cross-Country here is a quick orientation.

Typical Distances:

Scoring:

Any team that enters competition is scored by the placement of their first 5 finishers.  Add their placements in the race together and you get the team score.  So if the Wampus Cat team first 5 runners finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 7th, the team score would be 1+2+3+4+7 = 17.  The lowest team score wins the meet.

Kind of like golf without the caddie and the greens fees.
