What's Happening! Robert begins Camp Aldersgate volunteering. Has a good time with SCUBA Lesson and trip to Twisters Football Game. Robert rewards Mom and Dad with school discipline from being involved in vulgar note passing scandal. Robert gets early B-Day present (Wakeboard). Pops up 1st time. Robert shows "Animal Control Aptitude" at school, in corralling a stray dog loose in the school. School officals grateful but not helpful in getting him funkyless clothes to finish the school day. Robert hits a long range, buzzer beater 3 pointer, to end 1st half of Lions first game of the season. Needed a 5 pointer to insure the win. Robert Playing Catch Phrase: Moms Clue: It's early and you get free drinks. Roberts guess: "Breast Feeding" Correct Answer: "Happy Hour" Robert wins points with Mom on clothes washng conservation after Church Camp Trip: 4 days, only 1 pair of underwear used. Robert repeats as Ladies Man in final 5th Grade Awards Assembly. Fire mysteriously goes out and nobody has to use the bathroom at bedtime at 5th grade trip. Robert does his first 5k at 2002 Toad Suck Daze. Robert deemed "Ladies Man" at Vann Viking at School Awards. Robert loves PlayStation2 for Christmas 2001. Robert nails the delivery as narrator of the 2001 Christmas Program. Robert does the snowboard thing on Colorado trip. Robert overcomes the elements (rain, sleet, and snow) in attending the Broncos 10-17 loss at the hands of the Washington Redskins. Roberts addiction to TV confirmed on return trip from Colorado. Upon being passed by a van with a TV we could see from the vans rear window, Robert excitedly said, "Step on it Dad, I want to watch that show". "Saving Megan" On a recent visit, Roberts cousin Meagan shared that she had been saved at Summer Church Camp. Robert did not respond to her statement so she reiterated. Robert finally responded, "Were you drowning or something". Footnote: Robert was corrected on what was meant. Robert makes a strong tackle to stop an extra point conversion in the Chargers opening game. 5th Grade is underway. Robert likes his new teacher, Mr. Tucker. Gulf Shores trip helps break up the doldrums. Boogie boarding, go carting, track ball, hermit crab hunting, fireworks, do the trick. Summer doldrums setting in. Robert bored already. Basketball camp and Gulf Shores trip hopefully will help. Robert stars as the "Cat" in the easter play. Shows good acting range from Double O Heaven to the Cat. Massage or Torture After a recent visit (by mom) to a massage therapist, Robert felt compelled to give Mom a massage of his own. In an attempt to make Dad jealous, Mom shows how the massage therapist gets on top of Mom, and Robert comments, "I don't see how that feels good". Robert makes TV debut on Channel 7 weather with Barry Brandt. Roberts Christmas Favorites: Blitz 2001, almost life size Aircraft Carrier, Nerf Football, Windsuits. Having "Sky" the Wonderbird over Christmas Break. Thanksgiving week trip to Colorado: A wrong turn on the slopes get's Robert into the Ski Patrol as an honorary member. Robert learns to carve the turns. He enjoys the Tip Top slope the best. Robert plays his first Ice Hockey. Not bad for a first time. It sure makes you appreciate how the pros do it. Robert completes rookie football season. He had fun and learned a few things. Robert to be the lead actor in the Church Christmas Play (playing Double O Heaven) Academy Award Reservations now being taken. Robert is dishing it out and taking it in football (playing linebacker and tightend). He is most proud of busting through the run-thru sign. Jockstrap or Mouthpeice (who cares). Robert, proud of his new mouthpeice for football showed it to his friend Alex and said "hey look at my new jockstrap" Robert about Ashley after having her wisdom teeth pulled (with ice pack wrapped around her head and riding in a wheelchair), "I know Ashley is often embarrassed of me but I'm embarrased for her right now". Robert hits a ground rule double and drives in the winning run in a 10-9 come behind win in 1st game of the tournament. Robert and Raylen kneeboard and torpedo 7/13 Robert co-pilots Torpedo Flight with Dad on Greers Ferry Lake. Robert has a great time at Steve Schalls Basketball Camp. Learns some new moves. Robert goes 3-3 and scores 3 in 14-7 win over Qualchoice. Robert homers and triples in 13-8 United Motors win. Robert is hitting well and making plays in the field in early season games. Robert comes in 11th in the Tadpole Trot 3rd Piano Recital attended by dignitaries from Morrilton and Leola Robert be good (playing the saxophone) in "Johnny B. Goode" in school music program. Robert pulls off the slingshot pass on an extra lap of Branson .500 Go-Kart Race to take the checkered flag. Robert leads the laughter at Ripley's "Early Attempts at Flight" video and "Magic of the Night" humor. Dribbling with Brandon Robert to Brandon: "Try dribbling with your left hand" Brandon: "This hand?" Robert: "Dribble with the one you can't dribble with" Brandon: "This one?" (showing his right hand). Brandon: "I can't dribble with this one either" He wasn't a Plunger Robert recently shared that he had seen a man bend over exposing his crack. Robert felt it was important to point out he wasn't a Plunger (thus dispelling that myth). Favorite Holiday Gifts: 21 Speed Bike, Football (Nerf and Regulation), Baseball Bat, Windsuit, and NFL Quarterback Club and NBA In the Zone Nintendo 64 games 2nd Piano Recital Shows Wonderful Progression in Talent. Dad is very impressed. Roberts Spelling Test (perfect score streak) extends to 6 weeks. Robert takes home an A/B Honor Roll and Presidents Physical Fitness Award from Margurite Vann Awards Day! Robert scores a goal for the 5th game in a row (Bruisers 4 - Warriors 3). The Bruisers go undefeated in the final 5 games. Team name is officially changed back from the "Losers". Robert scores a goal for the 4th game in a row (Bruisers 3 - The Machine 1). Robert scores in a 1-1 tie with the Lightning. Roberto finds the goal in 4-3 win over the Comets. Robert reconsidering team name change (see below). Robert makes a hard-charging goal in Bruisers 2-2 tie against the Avalanche. Pokemon Card Collection Growing Rapidly Robert aces spelling test for the 1st time this year (Mom and Dad proud) Robert is down on Bruisers Soccer. The 0-3 start has Robert wanting to change the team name to Losers. 8th Birthday Party a success. Sleepover and Pokemon cards highlight the event. Seatbelt in the Honda replaced (see attached) Robert Snarled in Seatbelt on Wedding Trip (Knife of Life Rescue made) Robert and Samantha considering the Torpedo Riding Professional Circuit. ESPN Outdoors wants Roberts Video of 4lb. Hybrid, 3.5lb. Largemouth Bass, and 2lb. Smallmouth Bass. Piano Recital leaves fans in awe (he's a natural, must get it from his dad). If only he can convince the WCW to have an organist at the matches. Buying Banana's On a recent trip to the store, Mom (while waiting in the checkout line) discovered she had forgot the banana's. She asked Robert to go over and get a bunch of banana's. A few minutes later Robert returned with a huge armload of banana's. No she's on the phone. Andrea found one of Mom's gowns and had put it on and was proudly modeling it around the house. Mom instructed Robert to take Andrea and show her to Ashley. Robert came back and said "Ashley wasn't very nice, she wouldn't hardly look at Andrea in the gown". Mom replied, "Pay no attention to her she is on her period", Robert responded "No Mom, she's on her phone".
